Our Dams must pass OFA hip, elbow, and eye exam along with a genetic panel. We also evaluate each dog through training and only choose what we feel the best candidates for our standards and what will best improve the breed as a whole. ​

Maggie is a shed finding bird loving bubbly girl! Build thick and strong she is powerful but her small size makes her nice to have in the house. She is gritty in the field with a nice natural quartering pattern, great nose, and handles pressure well. She is always ready to socialize or work.  Great pedigree. Very food driven as well!

Reagan is a very driven female, with a lot of heart and grit. She is animated when hunting, soft mouth, very game driven and doesn't fear any cover. She is a bit "hotter" at an idle than some of our other females but enjoys attention and being in the home just as much as the field. Athletic build, clean in the kennel, and always ready to work.

Blonde loves her bird work, great in the kennel, very social sweetheart. She is very fast in the field, likes to please but not so much so that she can't think for herself.

Rowan is out SOK Archie and our Benelli. Rowan is the nicest homegrown pup to date that we have added to our program. We are stoked to add her. She is a very biddable girl with some grit and strong personality. She is always happy. She is quiet in the kennel, loads of natural ability, masculine build but athletic movement, very gamey, and gritty. We use Rowan for tracking and shed hunting which she has proven to be a strong asset.

Northwoods Pistol Annie

​Annie is the foundation of this kennel. Many people who visit us or pass through know this girl. She is everything a British Labrador should be. Great temperament, smart, lays on the couch till you are ready to work and she will go all day long! Whether you want to duck hunt, chase some grouse, or find that big shed, she is your gal! She also has her Jr. NASHDA Title. 

Annie loves to hunt anything and everything. Her small slender frame is no match for any bird. She lives to hunt and lives to please. She was my first breeding female as I went through many dogs till I came upon her. Runt of the litter, I was so lucky the original depositor didn't want her. I drug Annie to every show and event in the first few years and she became a showstopper for people to pet and create conversations that build our kennel business. She was the demo dog. I am not only forever thankful to her for giving me her all, but shaping me into the trainer I am today. Forever thankful. 

Annie resides with our breeding program partner Bob Schaaf at this time living quite a cushy life!

Benelli is a small masculine female with fire and a big personality to match.  She is a social butterfly who is willing to do anything you ask. Excellent build, great drive, efficient game finder with style. She is always ready to go to work or happy to place on her bed in the house. She is out of FTCH Jobeshill Ragnar of Flypatch. We imported her as a puppy and she has proven to be an exciting addition to the NTK breeding program.

Benelli has been trained for shed hunting and waterfowl. We continue her training and will be adding titles in the future.  She currently resides at the kennel. 

Wildrose Kimber II

Kimber is a great addition to our program. Not only is she wonderfully built, but a great athlete. She has been trained on finding sheds and tracking. Easy to train, a social butterfly, and a love for water. Kimber has a lot to offer in her pedigree as well.  Kimber was originally owned by a client of ours, we trained her for Ken and later purchased her from him. Kimber has been shed hunting and done some tracking in Kentucky and Texas before coming to us. 

Kimber is a great mother and and even with a whelping box full of puppies, is game anytime to work. She loves to work and loves to go for rides. 

​Kimber also resides at Bob's at this time.

Scarlett is one of our bigger females which is no surprise coming from her sire. Scarlett is a very honest working dog, not much for frills or quirks she is here to work or here to chill. Scarlett is very biddable with an excellent nose and work ethic. She spends her time recovering wounded game and shed hunting. While also very birdy, she loves water and ATV rides.  She spends her time at Wicked Wing Shed and Tracking dogs with her co-owner Ryan in Missouri. She returns to the north to whelp her puppies and return home doing what she does best.
